Ernest Benson, LPC is originally from Birmingham, Al and proud graduate of Morris Brown College. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults’, and families who have experienced difficult situations and life has become difficult to manage or overwhelming. I pride myself on recognizing the impact of stress, anxiety and trauma based on past and present experiences of daily living. Understanding the impact complex trauma plays on daily operations, and decreased functionality. We create an atmosphere where our clients can be transparent. By taking inventory of the finite details, we can identify how thoughts, feelings and behaviors have changed and create a treatment plan for recovery. Our goal is to create a life of happiness, joy and kindness to self and others. Creating new habits suitable to making your future brighter. Ernest Benson, LPC has worked in the Mental Health field for 20 years in Hospitals and Community Agencies as a Case Manager, Life Coach, and Community Support Specialist.
